Eileen R. Bishop, MD

After graduating Summa cum Laude from Dowling College in New York, Dr. Bishop went on to earn her M.D. from SUNY in 1990. She then completed her internship at NYU Medical Center/Bellevue Hospital in 1990 and her fellowship at St. Luke's Roosevelt Hospital Center/Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons and St. Luke's Hospital Center in 1996. During her fellowship, Dr. Bishop was appointed Chief Cardiology Fellow. Dr. Bishop's teaching experience included a position at the Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons from 1993-1996. Board-certified in internal medicine and cardiovascular diseases as well as nuclear cardiology and echocardiography, she is currently practicing in New York as a member of Suffolk Heart Group in Bay Shore and Smithtown with privileges at Southside Hospital of Bay Shore, Good Samaritan of West Islip, and St. Catherine of Siena of Smithtown, New York.
