After graduating Phi Beta Kappa and Magna cum Laude from NYU in 1960, Dr. Farr went on to earn his M.D. from the NYU School of Medicine. He then completed both his internship and residency at Montefiore Hospital in the Bronx. While completing his residency requirements, Dr. Farr began to serve as a Captain in the U.S. Army Reserves, which he continued through 1989. During those years, he completed a cardiology fellowship at Harvard and additional catheterization training at the Cleveland Clinic. He has published several articles in scholarly journals. Board-certified in both internal medicine and cardiovascular diseases, Dr. Farr currently practices as a member of Suffolk Heart Group with privileges at Southside Hospital of Bay Shore, Good Samaritan of West Islip, and St. Catherine of Siena of Smithtown, New York. Dr. Farr is an Assistant Clinical Professor of Medicine at State University of New York at Stony Brook.
